What makes this a better Fishdle experience?

Players who want more than a single silhouette can choose three modes, request plain-language visual hints, accept regional and translated fish names, replay the archive, collect Fishdex discoveries, and compare scores with friends.

Learn a fish, not just an answer

Every completed puzzle opens a fact card with the fish’s appearance, habitat, size, common and scientific names, original collection art when available, and something memorable to share.

FAQ

Fishdle questions, answered

Is this Fishdle 2?

Fishdle is the game at fish-dle.com. It is built as an expanded daily fish experience—with three modes, archives, collections, social play, and multilingual names—rather than presented as a numbered sequel.

Is Fishdle free?

Yes. Daily and archived puzzles can be played free in a web browser without an account.

Do I need an account?

No. Anonymous play works immediately. A free account saves progress, streaks, the Fishdex, and friend leaderboards across visits.

Can I play old puzzles?

Yes. The archive contains the previous 30 days in all three modes, and archive games do not change the daily streak.

Are regional and translated fish names accepted?

Yes. Fishdle recognizes common, scientific, regional, and language-specific names across ten supported interface languages.
